Today, each of The Inn at Bath's guest rooms, through creative design and decorative treatments, has its own special individuality. This quality is enhanced by 18th and 19th century antiques, lovely fabrics and what many guests call "the special touches." The Inn's beautifully-appointed and spacious guest rooms and suites have private bathrooms, air conditioning, cable television, VCR's, AM-FM clock radio/cassette players and telephones. CD players are also available.
The rooms all have private bathrooms in every sense of the word. Bathrooms directly adjoin their respective guest accommodation - no ducking across non-private hallways. Except for The Sail Loft, which has a large shower (with seat), our guest bathrooms have full bathing facilities (i.e., both showers and bathtubs).
Our rooms offer a selection of firm and comfortable king, queen, double and twin beds, each with large comforters and extra pillows. Several rooms have very comfortable 6'5" sofa/daybeds and futon mattresses which can be made up for additional guests. Cots and a port-a-crib are also available. Five guest rooms have writing desks/tables, sofas/loveseats and several rooms have outdoor entrances (ideal for pets!), as well as their internal access to The Inn proper.
A number of our spacious guest rooms have working woodburning fireplaces. We use real firewood in our fireplaces (no rolled-newspaper logs or gas jets behind fake logs) and do not limit the firewood supply (unlimited firewood is included in the posted rate).
Several of our rooms have two-person heated Jacuzzis, sofas, writing desks and private outdoor entrances. We have three fireplace rooms and two Jacuzzi / fireplace rooms. These rooms make the Inn at Bath one of the most romantic inns in Maine.
We also have a handicapped accessible first floor level guest room built to ADA specifications which includes the required outdoor entrance ramp (year-'round accessibility).
All Guest rooms have private bathrooms (8 have bathtubs as well as showers). The guest bathrooms have fluffy towels, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryers, makeup pads and night lights.
All guest rooms have firm beds, non-alergenic pillows, comforters, air conditioning, cable television, VCR's, AM-FM clock radios/cassette players and telephones. We also have a selection of movie videos and a CD player for your use.
Cots, a port-a-crib and a child's safety railing for a standard bed are available.
Five guest rooms have working woodburning fireplaces and two have two-person heated Jacuzzis overlooking woodburning fireplaces. An unlimited supply of firewood is included in the rate posted room rate. Three guest rooms have their own private outdooor entrances.
A complimentary full breakfast is served each morning between 8:00 and 9:30 AM in our one of our elegant dining rooms . Late-rising guests who "sleep-in" can have coffee or tea, juice and an English muffin in our breakfast room off the kitchen. Special dietary needs can be accommodated (24-hour advance notice, please). A second private dining room is available for corporate clients or guests who wish to dine alone.
The Inn at Bath is a honeymoon, wedding anniversary and special occasion romantic destination in midcoast Maine...often called one of the best romantic getaways in Maine. The Inn is often reserved in its entirety for out-of-town guests attending weddings, reunions and special occasions, such as bar and bat mitzvahs.
Business Travelers - For our guests convenience, particularly business travelers, Internet and e-mail access and off-street parking are available. A FAX machine is available at a modest charge. Business breakfasts and meetings for six to ten people. |
