The Hartwell House has an ambiance that is elegant, yet warm. An attentive staff, traditional extras, and a fresh, young and creative approach to a time-tested recipe all help our guests feel a part of our home.
Each of our rooms is furnished with a distinctive collection of Early American and English antiques. Most of our accommodations have French doors leading to terraces or balconies overlooking sculpted flower gardens.
Suites have private bedroom, livingroom, dining area, kitchen with refrigerator and wet bar and a balcony or terrace. Holiday rates are slightly higher in spring-fall and winter seasons.

| The Hartwell House: Terms and extra information:
RESERVATIONS will be charged 50 percent of total bill at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due upon arrival. The deposit can be paid by credit card or by check if received within 7 days. There are no refunds for early departures. CANCELLATIONS must be received 14 days prior to your arrival to receive a refund (21 days for special dining events). A $15 service charge per room will be applied to all cancellations. CHECK IN time is from 3-9 p.m. Special arrangements must be made in advance for late arrivals. CHECK OUT time is promptly at 11 a.m. to avoid additional charges. CHILDREN under 14 must be accompanied by an adult in the room. We regret an invitation is not extended to children under 10 years of age. ACCOMMODATIONS are for two persons only.MINIMUM STAY: We request a three night minimum stay in July and August and on holiday weekends. A two night stay is required for certain spring and fall weekends. |
