For longer distances, allowance is made for a leisurely lunch. The time for longer stops for sightseeing and activities are not included. In Maine, ferry crossings are frequently the most efficient and relaxing way to arrive at your destination. Where ferries are suggested ( shown in red ), the time of travel includes the time of the crossing and the normal waiting time in the ferry terminal. Weather and traffic conditions can cause delays so allow enough time for these eventualities.

Check with your Select Innkeeper for expert advice on travel arrangements. They know local conditions best of all and are there to serve you.
